Do you really have to “work twice as hard” to be taken seriously if you're a woman or person of color? While there's wisdom in this "truth" doled out to underrepresented leaders by mentors and guides, it leads to too much burnout. When we see this "truth" in terms of privilege, we can access new tools to fight burnout by claiming our inner power and confidence.
