What are you grateful for -- even in the COVID economy?
August 11, 2020
For every challenge I am finding more and more things to be grateful for. This is true despite some setbacks and challenges in celebrating an important engagement, my mother-in-law's 100th birthday and my 30th wedding anniversary, which was supposed to be a trip to Spain. 🥺

  • The engagement is happening anyway - with major social distancing and no hugs 😶
  • My business continues to grow and my clients (new and old) continue to be AMAZING (not just saying that)
  • My mother-in-law had a nice centennial celebration with staff and a video we made for her (yay, Melanie!)
  • I'm seeing more and more empathy in our world
  • We're planning some domestic trips for holidays and family time
  • Working at home is giving people ways to manage their stress they never had before
  • My children are amazing and surprise me every day with their resilience and maturity
  • My friends are there for me and we're finding ways to keep our spirits up (thank you, Cindy!)
  • I'm finding more time for some long dormant hobbies (pottery and knitting!) that helps me exercise my creativity, refresh and resuscitate my spirit when it gets dragged down
  • My work is getting more interesting as my clients' lives blend work and life so closely their survival lies in becoming more whole
  • So glad I stepped up to weekly meditations as they are keeping me grounded

How about you? Leave your gratitudes in comments below!

All the best,

P.S. - Also grateful that my colleagues Cindy Atlee is joining me in a new webinar series to help our clients and friends navigate the rough road ahead for our careers in the COVID economy. Join us on the journey to Career Bliss (in a pandemic!)
